Hi! My name is Mrs A and this is actually my second blog! My first one is called ateacherwhotravels.com and it focuses on my travel adventures. This blog is more lifestyle and self improvement challenges. In fact, this entire year is devoted to me doing 12 months of new challenges. This is the focus of my journey and you are welcome to tag along or join me!
12 Months of Failures
Instead of attempting to do 12 New Year Resolutions all starting in January, I am going to put my focus on one new habit for one month. At the end of the month, the pressure is off and I can choose to continue or not as I wish.
“I can accept failure; everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying” -Michael Jordan
In my research for doing this blog, I’ve read that most people don’t reach their resolutions, not because they failed, but because they quit. I’ve also read that a habit is formed after repeating it for at least 30 days in a row. And so many of the self help books I devour say to not wait until everything is perfect, but to just start, ready or not. So here we are!
January’s Failure: Blog Every Day
In the spirit of just doing it, I am going to take up a 30 day blogging challenge I found on Pinterest. I’m not going to let the fact that my theme isn’t perfect, or my photos just right, stand in my way, I’m just going to start.
